The story
About this festival.
Late Fall Fall Food Truck Festival At Laurita Winery is an annual food and wine festival held in late fall at Laurita Winery in New Egypt, New Jersey — admission starts at $13 online and includes access to gourmet food trucks, indoor and outdoor wine and tasting bars, live entertainment, and a souvenir Laurita wine glass. The festival takes place at 85 Archertown Road on a 40-acre estate vineyard within the Outer Coastal Plain American Viticultural Area, one of New Jersey's recognized wine-producing regions.
Late Fall Fall Food Truck Festival At Laurita Winery draws food trucks from across the tri-state area, paired with estate-grown wines produced from Chardonnay, Merlot, Cabernet, Pinot Gris, and other Vinifera varieties first planted on the property between 1998 and 2002. The winery produces 14,000 to 16,000 cases annually, all exclusive to the property. Beyond the food and wine, the festival grounds include firewood for 40 fire pits in a shaded Grove area, a kid's playground, seasonal activities such as pumpkin picking and apple and pumpkin cannons, and fireworks on Saturday nights when scheduled — beginning 30 minutes after sunset. Complimentary wagon tours of the vineyard are offered throughout the event at no additional charge.
General admission tickets are $13 when purchased online and $15 at the door. No physical ticket is required for entry — the ticket purchaser's name is held at the gate, and members of the same party may arrive separately. Gates open at 11 a.m. and guests may come and go freely. Chairs, blankets, and tents are permitted and encouraged. Free surface parking and a shuttle between the lot and festival grounds are included. Most food trucks accept credit cards, but an on-site ATM is available; bringing cash is advisable. Outside food, beverages, and coolers are not allowed. Tickets are risk-free: if the event is canceled, they transfer to the next scheduled food truck festival or a full refund is available.
Laurita Winery sits within the Outer Coastal Plain AVA, a New Jersey wine region recognized for Vinifera varieties suited to the state's sandy, well-drained soils. The winery's estate grapes are hand-harvested and processed with a focus on preserving fruit character — a philosophy reflected in the wines poured at festival tasting bars alongside food truck offerings from the broader tri-state area.
