1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly to us and information collected automatically when you use Pour Trail.

Information You Provide

  • Newsletter sign-up: Your email address when you subscribe to The Pour newsletter.
  • Contact form: Your name, email address, and message content when you contact us.
  • Festival submissions: Festival details you submit through our submission form.

Information Collected Automatically

  • Usage data: Pages visited, time spent, referring URLs, and general geographic region (country/state level only).
  • Device information: Browser type, operating system, and screen resolution.
  • IP address: Used for security and to determine your approximate location (state/country level).

We do not use tracking cookies. Our analytics are powered by Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless and privacy-preserving by design.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To send you the newsletter you subscribed to (email address only).
  • To respond to your contact form submissions.
  • To review and potentially list festival submissions.
  • To understand aggregate usage patterns and improve the site.
  • To protect against abuse and fraudulent activity.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Cookies

Pour Trail does not set tracking or advertising cookies. We may set a small session cookie for functional purposes (for example, if you submit a form). 4. Third Parties

We work with the following third-party services:

  • Cloudflare: Hosts the site and provides cookieless web analytics. Cloudflare's privacy policy is at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
  • Beehiiv: Powers The Pour newsletter. When you subscribe, your email address is shared with Beehiiv to manage delivery. Beehiiv's privacy policy is at beehiiv.com/privacy.
  • Eventbrite and other ticket platforms: Festival pages may link to Eventbrite or other ticketing sites. When you click those links, you are subject to those platforms' privacy policies.

5. Data Retention

Newsletter subscribers' email addresses are retained until you unsubscribe. Contact form submissions are retained for up to 12 months. Analytics data is aggregated and anonymized with no personally identifiable information stored.

If you are a California resident, you have the right to:

  • Know what personal information we collect about you.
  • Request deletion of your personal information.

Our lawful basis for processing your data is your consent (newsletter) or legitimate interest (analytics, contact forms).

7. Children's Privacy

Pour Trail is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
