The story

About this festival.

Colorado Uncorked is the Colorado Wine Industry Development Board's annual tasting of the gold-medal wines from the Governor's Cup Competition, held at the History Colorado Center in downtown Denver, Colorado, on Saturday, October 17, 2026. New for 2026, every gold-medal wine is invited to pour, so the selection is larger than in past years, and chefs create small bites inspired by the winning wines. The Governor's Cup Collection and the Best in Show winner are announced during the evening, at about 8:30 PM.

General admission is $105 and opens at 7 PM. Two limited tiers of 150 tickets each open at 6 PM: early entry ($175 listed as the top tier on the ticket page) for an extended tasting of the 2026 winners, and VIP, which adds a lounge with Governor's Cup wines from previous years and a fuller menu from Occasions Catering. Food and wine service ends at 9:30 PM. Enter through the museum's school-group entrance on the south side of the building.
