The story

About this festival.

Breckenridge Food & Wine 2026 - Presented by Banfi Wines is a food and wine festival held annually over 3 days in Breckenridge, Colorado, featuring over 300 wines from across the globe across two mountain venues. The 2026 edition runs July 24–26 at Main Street Station Plaza and The Village at Breckenridge, with a structured three-event format: a Friday Wine Pairing Dinner, a Saturday Grand Tasting, and a Sunday Brunch and Vines. Grand Tasting tickets start at $75 in advance and $80 at the gate, while VIP Saturday access is $200 per person.

The Saturday Grand Tasting runs from 2–6pm and anchors the weekend, offering a commemorative glass and unlimited wine samples across both venues. Live music by Spinphony runs 2:30–5:30pm on the Main Street Station stage, while DJ NME1 holds down The Village Plaza simultaneously. Food is available for purchase from specialty vendors but is not included in the Grand Tasting pass. The Friday Wine Pairing Dinner at Sauce on the Maggie — located within The Village at Breckenridge — is a seated, reservation-required experience where a Wine Specialist leads guests through pairing principles alongside dishes from the Executive Chef. Sunday's Brunch and Vines, also at Sauce on the Maggie, runs 11am–1pm and features sparkling wine, mimosas, and a brunch spread.

The All Access Pass at $375 per person covers all 3 events: reserved seating at the Friday dinner, VIP access on Saturday starting at 12:30pm, and reserved seating at Sunday brunch. The Saturday VIP Experience ($200) opens with a sparkling wine welcome reception at 12:30pm and includes 1 hour of early access to the Grand Tasting before general admission gates open at 2pm, plus access to the VIP Lounge with artisan cheeses, sweets, and a dedicated wine bar. VIP tickets are noted to sell out in advance, and VIP areas are restricted to ticket holders only — no children, dogs, or designated drivers.

Breckenridge sits at over 9,600 feet in the Colorado Rockies, making it one of the higher-elevation wine festival settings in the country. While Colorado does not have a prominent wine-producing AVA in the immediate area, the festival draws wines from international producers, with Banfi Wines — an Italian-American importer known for Brunello di Montalcino and Super Tuscans — serving as the presenting sponsor for 2026.
