Richmond R&B Neo Soul Wine Food & Music Festival

Richmond R&B Neo Soul Wine Food & Music Festival is a 21-and-over wine festival at Kanawha Plaza in Richmond, Virginia, on Saturday, September 19, 2026, hosted by the nonprofit Yar Beauties. Doors open at 11:30 AM, the day runs 12 to 6 PM, wine tasting runs from 12:30 to 4:30 PM, and the first band goes on at 1 PM. Admission includes the wine tasting, a souvenir wine glass, wine education and access to the vendors; the live R&B and neo-soul lineup was still to be announced at time of writing.

The event is rain or shine and ID is required. Chairs, blankets, umbrellas, hand-held cooler bags, unopened water, small snacks and even birthday cakes are allowed in; animals and outside alcohol are not. Kanawha Plaza is a downtown park a block from the James River canal, and the same organizer follows this with a Caribbean-themed festival on the plaza the next day.
