Round Rock Wine Fest

Round Rock Wine Fest is an indoor grand tasting in Round Rock, Texas, pouring more than 40 wines from Texas wineries and wine vendors at The Texas Hall on Saturday, September 12, 2026. Round Rock Wine Fest sells admission at $20 during its sale (regularly $40), and the ticket covers every tasting plus a souvenir glass, a printed tasting sheet for notes, and optional wine classes. Live music and food vendors run through the event.

What sets the format apart is what it leaves out. The organizer, Wino Event Company, caps attendance to keep the room personal rather than packed, does not sell extra tasting tickets or upsell at the door, and takes no cut of bottle sales, so wineries sell at the same prices they charge at their own tasting rooms. Once your flight is complete you can stay as long as you like. The pouring list is deliberately eclectic: a few big Texas names alongside boutique producers, some of whose wines are otherwise only available at the winery itself.

Before the festival, ticket holders are invited to a virtual class at home covering how to get the most out of the tasting, and the sheet you receive on arrival lists every producer in attendance with space for notes. It is a good fit for groups, a date, or going solo, and the all-inclusive structure means the price you pay online is the price you pay, period.

Round Rock is just north of Austin, and the pouring producers reflect the state as a whole rather than one region: expect wines from the Texas Hill Country, the High Plains and smaller North Texas operations side by side, which is a rare chance to compare them without driving between tasting rooms.
