The story

About this festival.

2026 Fueled By Fine Wine: Half, Quarter, and 5K is a run-and-taste grand tasting event held annually on July 12, 2026, in Dundee, Oregon — limited to 1,100 participants who race through private Willamette Valley vineyards before a complimentary post-race wine festival. Race distances include a half marathon, quarter marathon, and 5K, with entry prices ranging from $69 to $105 through April 20th. A standalone tasting-only ticket is available for $45, and a virtual race option is offered at $69 for those who cannot attend in person.

2026 Fueled By Fine Wine: Half, Quarter, and 5K is held at Dundee Billick Park, approximately 30 minutes southwest of Portland, with courses routed through private vineyard terrain. After finishing, all registered racers receive complimentary wine tasting from nearly two dozen Willamette Valley wineries — 24 poured at the 2025 event. Every registration includes a commemorative wine glass, chip-timed results, a custom name bib, race medals, and a race shirt. Groups of 5 or more qualify for 10% off each registration.

Practical planning notes: registration closes at the early-bird price of $69–$105 through April 20th, and the 1,100-participant cap makes early sign-up advisable. The $45 tasting-only ticket covers access to the post-race winery festival, snacks, and a commemorative glass, but is restricted to guests 21 and over and requires pre-registration to guarantee the glass. Virtual participants who complete their race between July 13th and July 21st receive a medal, shirt, bib, and a punch card for complimentary wine tasting redeemable over the following year.

Dundee sits within the Willamette Valley AVA, Oregon's most celebrated wine region, best known for Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris grown in Jory and Willakenzie soils. The area's cool-climate conditions and volcanic hillside terrain define the character of the wines participants will encounter at the post-race festival.
