The story
About this festival.
NYC Wine & Food Festival is a multi-day food and wine festival held annually in October in New York, NY — now in its 18th year, the 2025 edition runs October 15–19 across 5 days and more than 50 events, drawing approximately 35,000 attendees and featuring over 300 chefs, winemakers, mixologists, and culinary personalities. Organized by the Food Network New York City Wine & Food Festival presented by Invesco QQQ (NYCWFF), the festival has relocated its primary campus to the historic Seaport neighborhood in Lower Manhattan, a waterfront district that anchors the signature Grand Tasting and other flagship experiences. More than 200 sponsors and brand partners contribute to programming across all 5 days.
NYCWFF's programming spans a wide range of formats under one festival umbrella: walk-around tastings, intimate multi-course dinners, cocktail parties, brunches, hands-on master classes, and FoodieCon®, a dedicated full day of content and cooking with culinary creators. The Grand Tasting runs in two distinct formats — a daytime edition and Grand Tasting After Dark, which layers live music, spirits, and culinary demonstrations into the after-hours lineup. More than 20 exclusive dining experiences pair multi-course tasting menus with wines and spirits curated by featured chefs. Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits, North America's largest wine and spirits distributor — operating in 44 U.S. states and distributing more than 150 million cases annually — serves as the exclusive provider of wines and spirits across the festival. NYC Wine & Food Festival is structured around individually ticketed events and curated bundles rather than a single all-access pass, giving attendees flexibility to build their own schedule.
For practical planning, the 2025 NYC Wine & Food Festival runs Wednesday, October 15 through Sunday, October 19, with events concentrated in the Seaport district of Lower Manhattan. Ticket prices for general admission and VIP tiers were not publicly listed at the time of publication — visit nycwff.org/events for current availability. Ticket bundles are available for attendees looking to combine multiple events at a reduced rate, and group packages can be arranged through the festival's official site. With more than 50 events on the calendar, reviewing the full lineup early is advisable, particularly for intimate dinners and master classes, which carry limited capacity.
NYCWFF benefits two nonprofit organizations: the Event Zero Foundation, dedicated to environmental and social sustainability within the events industry, and the James Beard Foundation, a 501(c)3 nonprofit that has operated for nearly 40 years and focuses on culinary excellence and equitable food systems. Past editions of the festival have raised $11.5 million cumulatively for charitable causes, making philanthropy a structural — not incidental — part of the event's identity. The Seaport campus, new for 2025, positions the festival along the Lower Manhattan waterfront, giving NYC Wine & Food Festival a distinct urban character that sets it apart from vineyard-based regional festivals.
