The Best of the US Wine Fest at The Roost is a walk-around tasting and bottle sale of 30 American wines at The Roost food hall in Washington, Washington D.C., on Sunday, November 22, 2026, framed around 50 years since the 1976 Judgment of Paris put California on the map. Six stations staffed by wine professionals pour wines from California, Washington, Oregon, New York, Virginia and other American appellations; there are now 280 American Viticultural Areas to draw from.
The afternoon is split into two sessions of two hours each. A ticket covers unlimited passes through the 30 wines, snacks from The Roost kitchen and access to a bottle sale where everything poured is discounted for ticket holders that day. The Roost is on Pennsylvania Avenue SE on Capitol Hill, a short walk from the Potomac Avenue Metro station. Pricing is on the ticket page.
