The story

About this festival.

Santa Barbara Vintners Spring Weekend and Festival is a grand tasting event held in its 42nd year in Santa Barbara Wine Country, California — the original Santa Barbara wine festival, featuring over 70 wineries on October 17, 2026, at Folded Hills Polo Field in Gaviota. Visitors taste wines from more than 70 regional producers while meeting winemakers and owners. The festival includes a dedicated Bubble Lounge showcasing sparkling wines from across the region, paired with gourmet food from over 25 regional restaurants and local food businesses. Santa Barbara Wine Country produces globally recognized wines from one of the most diverse growing valleys in the world, offering more varietals than any other wine region.

General Admission ($125) grants access starting at 1 p.m. to all tastings and festivities. Early Entry tickets ($175) provide 60-minute early access at noon, allowing more personal interaction with winemakers and chefs in a less crowded environment. Locals living in Santa Barbara County qualify for a discounted ticket ($95) available to the first 250 buyers. Designated drivers can purchase Non-Drinking tickets ($35) and receive a special wristband.

Parking is on-site at the Gaviota venue, with the address provided upon ticket purchase. The festival runs rain or shine from noon to 4 p.m. Early bird ticket purchases made by May 31 enter buyers into a drawing for a case of Santa Barbara County wine or an exclusive tour and tasting at the Folded Hills lake dock; three prizes will be awarded.
