The story
About this festival.
Wind to Wine Festival is the Petaluma Gap Winegrowers Alliance's harvest tasting at the Gambonini Family Ranch outside Petaluma, California, on Saturday, October 17, 2026, with more than 20 Petaluma Gap wineries pouring and local bites alongside. General admission is $75 and VIP is $95. The ranch is a historic working dairy that is not normally open to the public, and the alliance pitches the afternoon as a chance to meet the growers and winemakers on the land itself.
The Petaluma Gap is Sonoma County's coolest AVA, defined by the wind funneled in from the Pacific through the gap in the coastal hills, and its Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Syrah are what the participating wineries mostly pour. Hours and the winery list had not been published on the listing at time of writing. Petaluma is 40 minutes north of the Golden Gate Bridge on Highway 101.
