The story

About this festival.

Pebble Beach Food & Wine is a luxury food and wine festival held annually at Pebble Beach Resorts on California's Monterey coastline — returning April 9–12, 2026 for its 15th year with over 50 events, more than 150 participating chefs, and more than 150 wineries across 4 days. The festival is hosted by the Pebble Beach Company Foundation, a nonprofit that has contributed over $20 million to Monterey County youth programs since 1975, supporting more than 10,000 students annually.

Pebble Beach Food & Wine spans the full grounds of Pebble Beach Resorts, with events staged both indoors and outdoors across venues including the Lodge, Spanish Bay, the Beach & Tennis Club, and a dedicated Tasting Pavilion. The program includes grand walk-around tastings, chef-led dinners, wine seminars, and coastal experiences. The 2026 lineup features chefs including Stephanie Izard of Girl & the Goat, Kwame Onwuachi of Tatiana, Nyesha Arrington of Native by Nyesha, Rocco DiSpirito, Michael Symon, Shota Nakajima, Esther Choi, Roy Yamaguchi, and Maneet Chauhan, among many others. An industry trade program provides approved applicants with exclusive access to one day at the Tasting Pavilion; applications close March 15, 2026.

All attendees must be 21 or older — no exceptions, including infants and small children. Lodging at Pebble Beach Resorts is not required to attend, but ticket holders may book rooms through Pebble Beach Reservations at 855-678-3335. The festival recommends smart-casual or event-appropriate attire; denim is not permitted, and comfortable shoes are advised for walk-around tastings. Golf events require golf shirts and Bermuda-length shorts or slacks. Bags are subject to a festival bag policy, and all venues provide ADA accommodations including wheelchair access and accessible parking. Ticket pricing for 2026 had not been announced at the time of publication; all-inclusive packages are available through the festival website.

Pebble Beach sits within the Monterey Bay region, adjacent to the Santa Lucia Highlands AVA — a cool-climate growing area known for Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. The coastal setting, shaped by marine influence from Monterey Bay, gives the festival a distinctive sense of place that connects the wines being poured to the California landscape surrounding them.
