Paso Wine Fest

Paso Wine Fest is a grand tasting wine festival held annually over three days in Paso Robles, California — featuring 120+ wineries across a full weekend of curated events from May 15–17, 2026. General admission tickets start at $65, and the festival is presented by STRAUSS. Paso Robles sits at the center of California's Central Coast, roughly halfway between Los Angeles and San Francisco, and draws from a wine region of more than 200 wineries growing over 40 grape varieties.

The weekend is structured across multiple distinct events rather than a single tasting session. Thursday, May 14 serves as a preview day with Winemaker Dinners and winery events throughout the region. On Friday, May 15, the Paired Paso event brings together wineries and celebrated chefs for curated wine and food pairings. Saturday, May 16 anchors the weekend with the Grand Tasting — 120+ wineries alongside distilled spirits, VIP exclusives, and elevated brand experiences. The festival closes Sunday, May 17 with Sparkling Paso, a brunch-format event focused on bubbles and bites. This multi-session format lets visitors choose how much of the weekend to attend rather than committing to a single event.

General admission is priced at $65; VIP pricing had not been announced at time of publication. Paso Robles is accessible via US-101 and served by San Luis Obispo County Regional Airport (SBP), approximately 32 miles away. The nearest major airports include LAX at 213 miles and SFO at 192 miles. Amtrak also serves Paso Robles directly at 800 Pine Street.

The Paso Robles AVA is known for its extreme diurnal temperature swings — among the largest in California — which support an extended growing season and balanced wines. Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Zinfandel, Petite Sirah, Grenache, Roussanne, and Viognier are among the varieties commonly poured, alongside Bordeaux- and Rhône-style blends that have become signatures of the region.
