About This Festival

Located in downtown Baton Rouge's Capitol Park, this premier three-day gathering draws over 30,000 attendees annually to celebrate Louisiana's rich culinary heritage. The Louisiana Food & Wine Festival features 75 local vendors, including beloved establishments like Antoine's, Commander's Palace, and Cochon Butcher serving up authentic Cajun and Creole delicacies. Notable dishes include crawfish étouffée, boudin, jambalaya, fresh Gulf oysters, and traditional beignets paired with an extensive selection of domestic and international wines. Live entertainment on the main stage has featured Louisiana legends like Trombone Shorty, Tab Benoit, and The Preservation Hall Jazz Band. Culinary demonstrations take place throughout each day at the Chef's Stage, where local and celebrity chefs share their techniques for mastering regional specialties. The festival's signature event is the Grand Tasting Tent, where guests can sample over 150 wines while meeting winemakers and sommeliers from around the world.
